This is my theme choice made on the wheel.

This is an extra credit vase made on the wheel. it is somewhat tall  and not very wide. The surface design is all smooth there is no negative space only positive. there are only two colors to this vase. one solid color and one color that drips down the sides. besides the little sand color of the clay that peaks through the glaze, the solid base color is white and the dripping color is dark blue. the drips down the sides of the vase indcate movement making it special. (:

This is a wheel bowl and i am using it as my wide project becuase it is wider than it is tall. The surface design is pretty complicated. it is a normal bowl until the top. there are carvings out of the bowl on the top. little squares and rectangles are taken out of the bowl on the brim. it is a clear color with red rings in the middle and little dots in between the rings. on the outside of the bowl, there is a design that is a line going all the way areound the bowl with dots on both sides of the bowls. This is important becuase of the color contrast of the red and clear makes the bowl almost look ancient.

This is a wheel planter. i am using it as my choice project.The bottom is pretty smooth because it only has one glaze on it and the glaze is thin but the rim is thicker because when i put the glaze on it was very thick so there is a distinct line between the two colors. it is two colors in total, one for the bottom of it and one for the rim. the bottom color is a shade of dark orange and the top is white with sand specks in it. This is important becuase the glaze at the top drips and that represents motion.

These are my set of three. they are 3 wheel bowls. The surface design is one solid color for each bowl with the same glaze dripping upward on every bowl. These bowls are yellow, black and green. the color that is dripping is the same for all of them and that is dark blue. This is important because they each are different colors but show that they are a set of three because they have the same color dripping.

This is a wheel altered bowl. It iswheel altered into the shape of a heart. the surface design is all around smooth but from where my fingers were pulling up the bowl it has little rings that are hardly noticable but they are there. it only has one color all over and that color is dark blue. this wheel altered project is important to me because it is in the shape of a heart and therefore represents love.
